I am Alka, a Contemporary Intuitive Abstract Artist. I live and work in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Artist Statement:​

Deeply rooted in Spirituality and fascinated by the unknowable and unknown, my work is inspired by the thin veil between our 3-D world and 5-D, the hidden layers/dimensions/realms of our subconscious.  My paintings are less about what we SEE and more about how we FEEL. 

I craft intricate, layered, mystical abstract paintings that beckon the viewer to embark on a journey of self-discovery.  I invite the viewers to go and sit inside my paintings, connect with the layers hidden underneath my work and in the process, explore the hidden recesses of their own minds.

I work in acrylics, mixed media, and collage on a variety of canvas, paper and wood.
